Golf

Golf
If we had more disposable income, I would have my boys playing this as often as they could. The sport teaches many life lessons. Being true to yourself, learning how to network, patience, etc. My Dad used to take me with him when he played. I took lessons one summer. But for now, my boys must settle for miniature golf. Now mind you, the course we play on is FREE. It is in a little park in the next town over. You must bring your own putter (One year Santa brought 3 to the house & never a window broken in all these years - well, not with a golf club, anyway) & ball. It's not really kept up very well. Sticks & stones on the greens...always proving to be challenging, usually at just the WRONG moment!

Here is The Blonde Frogger "Teeing Off" at the first hole.

Here I am. Check out that great form...LOL. Blonde Frogger took this picture of me. My sisters will swear that is our mom, not me, especially since there is no head in the shot(?). I look very much like my mom when she was my age. Everyone always says its going to happen. I have noticed for years now that I have her hands.

AHHHHH...now, this is just so not RIGHT! *Shaking head* Yup, this is the ball...but somehow it found itself off the course & into the "rough". I once purchased golf balls at a garage sale in an egg carton & they were labeled "Experienced" rather than "Used"...struck me as funny - This ball, too, was "experienced" & had been thru the course before - was hoping that it would stay on course, but as you can plainly see, experience was of little help at times that day.

I did manage to get 2 "Hole In One"s that day. Blonde Frogger did pretty good that day, as well. No more than 5 shots for any of the holes & a couple he got in 2 strokes!

It's all in the touch. Keep practicing my little Frogger!
